Cotton Honey

100@ Pure, Raw Unfiltered Cotton Honey harvested from Causey's hometown of Vienna GA!

Our cotton honey is produced just outside the limits of Vienna, GA. During July and August, the cotton plants produce a flower that offers the bees a delicious, light colored nectar. The bees bring this cotton nectar back to the hive, where they dry the moisture content down to approximately 18% water. This results in a honey that is light in color and almost buttery in flavor, with its own very unique sweetness.

The honey is collected directly from the hive, so it has not been filtered or heated. This is to retain all the benefits from the pollen, enzymes, and antioxidants. Pure honey never spoils but the highest quality honey may crystalize over time. Upon crystallization simply place the jar in hot water and let stand to reliquefy (do not bring to a boil).
