Returns and exchange details

We gladly accept cancellations

Request a cancellation within:  1 hour of purchase.

We do not accept returns or exchanges

If you're not happy, we aren't either! Talk to us and tell us if you have any problems with your order and how we can make your buying Causey's Foods online shopping experience better. 

We cannot refund shipping or purchase price of any item sent back to us for incorrect mailing address and/or name on package; undeliverable packages, forwarded packages, packages lost by the USPS or UPS carrier delays, and packages gone unclaimed. Causey Foods cannot resend the item(s) for free. It is the responsibility of the original buyer to pay for all re-shipping and purchase charges.

If you have been sent the incorrect item(s) or if your package arrived damaged, please "chat now" with us a picture of the item(s) here on www.causeyfoods.com and we will help rectify the situation immediately.

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion.

Shipping policies

*** We STRONGLY recommend upgrading your order to Priority USPS (when applicable) for faster delivery, insurance up to $50 and a path for monetary recovery in case the postal service loses or damages your package. First class shipping does not offer these benefits.***

PROCESSING TIME: Our regular processing time is 1-3 business days (this does not include weekend days or holidays). 1-3 business days is the time it will take to produce your product and does not include the time it will take to ship the product to you. Please note: This processing time increases to 3-5 business days during holiday seasons. Large orders may require additional days for processing. Please contact us for more information.

SHIPPING TIME: Please see descriptions below (under "Shipping Methods") for suggested ways to have your package sent to you. You will choose your shipping method upon checkout. We strongly recommend you choose USPS Priority shipping (US customers) 

"PRIORITY SHIPPING": Choosing Priority shipping upon checkout does not mean expedites Causey Foods expedites the processing time of your items; it is the type of shipping offered by the United States Post Office.

"MISSING DELIVERED PACKAGES": If your package states it has been delivered, but you have not received it, please contact your local post office and make an inquiry. We cannot refund or resend items that have been marked "delivered" by the USPS. (See: The "Lost Package Help" section for detailed information)

We are not responsible for loss or theft of delivered packages.

LOST PACKAGE (United States): If your package has not arrived in a reasonable amount of time and your tracking information states that your package is in transit or has been delivered, there are a few options you can try that may help you locate your package:

- If your item is stuck in "transit," please call the USPS for assistance. (1-800-275-8777)
- Call your local post office to make sure they are not holding the package for you.
- Ask your neighbors. Once in a while the postal person may accidentally deliver your package to a neighbor.
- Check your back door or porch. Sometimes the postal person may leave a package in the back of the home to prevent theft.
- If you live in an apartment complex and share a large mailbox with other tenants, check your “postal locker.” The postal locker is the large locked box at the bottom of the mailboxes. The postal person should leave a key for you to unlock your postal locker when you receive a package. If they do not, contact your local post office immediately.

Please have your tracking number ready to give to customer service. You may file a claim if you purchased Priority or Priority Mail Express postage. You cannot file a claim for first class postage.

US customers may also file a claim for lost Priority packages online at: https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm

Additional policies

We do not recommend packages be left outside as they are food products. Please ask your postal person about local package pick up options.

Please keep spices away from children and pets at all times.

We ship primarily USPS because we support our local postal employees. The USPS is a valuable independent establishment of the executive branch of the Government of the United States.

Large orders may require longer production time than stated on any given listing and may be sent USPS or UPS, whichever is more cost effective.
